This guidance is part of a series of cancer service guidance, which aims to provide advice on how services in the NHS should be organised to provide effective services to people with certain conditions. It is different from a clinical guideline, which provides advice on the assessment and treatment of individuals with a specific condition. However the development process is very similar to that used for guidelines. See below for more information on the Institute's guideline development process.
Consultation on the final consultation draft of the guidance is complete and the guidance is being modified in the light of comments received.
