Acutely ill patients in hospital: audit criteria

To support the implementation of NICE guidance, audit criteria are developed by CASPE. The criteria are developed to support the key recommendations of the guideline and are designed to help NHS organisations with their baseline assessment and to help them review and monitor practice to ensure compliance with the key recommendations. They provide ready-to-use criteria which can be cut and pasted into existing audit tools and they include exceptions, definitions and data source suggestions.
