Worklessness and health - what do we know about the causal relationship? Evidence review

This evidence review collates review-level evidence about the causal relationship between worklessness and ill health. It identifies gaps in the research and makes recommendations for future research activity. The findings will be most useful to those commissioning and undertaking research, including practitioners and agencies outside of academia, and those who work at policy level in employment.
