Sexual harassment policy (January 2000)
The National Institute for Clinical Excellence recognises that sexual harassment is an unacceptable and discriminatory practice, and is committed to taking the necessary action to ensure that it does not occur. Any complaint of sexual harassment made against any officer or member of the Institute will be treated seriously and will be thoroughly investigated. Sexual harassment is misconduct and, where proven, will be treated as a disciplinary offence.
