This guidelinet offers evidence-based advice on the care and treatment of adults with generalised anxiety disorder or panic disorder (with or without agoraphobia. New and updated recommendations on the management of generalised anxiety disorder were included in 2011.

This guideline was previously called generalised anxiety disorder and panic disorder (with or without agoraphobia) in adults: Management in primary, secondary and community care.

It updates and replaces anxiety: management of anxiety (panic disorder, with or without agoraphobia, and generalised anxiety disorder) in adults in primary, secondary and community care (CG22).
