Diabetic foot - inpatient management of people with diabetic foot ulcers and infection
This short clinical guideline offers evidence-based advice on the inpatient care of people with diabetic foot problems from hospital admission onwards. It is the full guideline and contains all the recommendations, details of how they were developed, and reviews of the evidence they were based on.
The care pathway in the full guideline was amended (January 2012) to reflect recommendation 1.2.9 more clearly. We have also amended this in the NICE pathway as well as the quick reference guide.
