Consultation on the draft of the guideline is complete and the guideline is being modified in the light of comments received.

The publication date for the Intrapartum Care (update) has been changed to 3 December 2014

The draft guideline is out for consultation with stakeholders between 13 May 2014 and 24June 2014.

The scope defines what aspects of care are covered by the guideline and to whom it applies. Comments that were made by stakeholders during the consultation on the scope can be seen in the scope consultation table. The Guideline Development Group (GDG) oversees the development process.
15 February 2012
In line with the draft methods for developing quality standards, the development of the quality standard will be the responsibility of a separate group. This will include topics experts, some of whom will be drawn from the Guideline Development Group. The clinical guideline scope will form the basis from which the clinical guideline will be developed and the quality standard scope will inform the development of the quality standard, which will be developed following completion of the clinical guideline.
