The remit for this guideline was received from the Department of Health and the National Assembly for Wales.

The scope defines what aspects of care are covered by the guideline and to whom it applies.The Collaborating Centre and the Institute are in the process of agreeing details of the workplan including how the development will progress, the membership of the guideline development group and timescales.

16 May 2002 Revised list of Stakeholders.
24 June 2003 The first consultation draft of the guideline is out for consultation with stakeholders. If you wish to comment, you need to do so via one of the registered stakeholder organisations listed above, by the deadline shown.
10 October 2003 Consultation on the final consultation draft of the guideline is complete and the guideline is being modified in the light of comments received.
