Project history

Date Update
20 September 2006 Early draft recommendations from forthcoming guidance on the prevention of sexually transmitted infections and under 18 conceptions were included in the September issue of the Faculty of Public Health journal, ph.com by NICE in error.

The draft recommendations are still under discussion by the Public Health Interventions Advisory Committee and may change before the guidance is published for consultation. The committee are considering the latest available evidence, particularly relating to the use of emergency contraception ('morning after pill'). The draft version of the guidance is due to be published for consultation in early October.
9 October 2006 STI - Consultation on the draft recommendations added.
