Static List Review - September 2016
TA73; Myocardial perfusion scintigraphy for the diagnosis and management of angina and myocardial infarction was added to the static list in November 2010.
Recommendation 1.1 of TA73 has previously been updated in CG95 and recommendation 1.2 has been partially updated in CG126. This Static List Review considers the remaining elements of recommendation 1.2.
As recommendation 1.2 has been on the static list for more than 5 years, NICE has been gathering intelligence to ascertain whether there is any new evidence available relevant to this appraisal and whether this should be considered through the full review proposal process.
We have concluded that there has been no change in the evidence base that is likely to lead to a change in the existing recommendations.
As a result, we have decided that recommendation 1.2 of TA73 should remain on the static list and no further action is required at this time.
