On 30 April NICE launched NHS Evidence. NHS Evidence is a web-based service that helps people find, access and use high-quality clinical and non-clinical evidence and best practice. Since the publication of the NICE clinical guideline on Prostate Cancer (CG58) in February 2008, there have been discussions between The British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) and NICE to ensure that there is clarity over some of the recommendations in order to support the implementation of the guideline. A joint statement has recently been agreed and has been incorporated into the relevant implementation support documents.
