Interventional procedures programme process guide consultation

NICE is undertaking a review of the processes used in its Interventional Procedures Programme, which issues guidance on the safety and efficacy of interventional procedures being used in the NHS for the first time.

NICE is now consulting on the updated Interventional Procedures Process Guide for a period of 12 weeks. We would like to receive comments on this document from anyone who has an interest in or who is affected by the Interventional Procedures Programme.

Comments need to be made by the end of the day on Wednesday 10th September 2008. The response to the consultation will be considered by the Institute’s Board at its meeting in November and subject to Board approval, the Interventional Procedures Programme Process Guide will be published in early 2009.
