3rd - 4th December 2008
Bursary scheme for patient, carer and voluntary organisations.
2008 is NICE's 10th anniversary. Our annual conference NICE 2008 - excellence in action will reflect on what has changed and what has been done differently since we came into being. What have been the secrets of success and what have we all learned from any missed opportunities? The focus will be firmly on the practical, with a greater emphasis on case studies of implementation in action alongside all the latest news and views about the design, delivery and audit of NICE guidance
The conference will feature plenary sessions on the major conference themes with an impressive array of speakers to open up the discussions, alongside masterclasses and mini-plenaries which will drill down and look at what is working in public health, in audit and locally in implementation at PCT, practice and trust level.
Each year the NICE conference attracts a large, diverse audience representing all areas of healthcare and public health, including patients, carers, the wider public, and those who represent them, and we hope that you will be part of it in 2008.
We are pleased to be able to offer a bursary scheme for a limited number of places at the 2008 NICE annual conference, for patient and carer organisations and other voluntary organisations. This scheme is in addition to the concessionary rate offered for patient and voluntary sector representatives. The offer is for one bursary place per UK patient/carer or voluntary organisation.
