Costing team on tour
Two members of the costing team at NICE joined the local implementation consultant, Jayne Chidgey-Clark, at a workshop hosted by the South West Strategic Health Authority (SHA) in September. The aims of the workshop were to:
discuss why forward planning and costing is important
demonstrate the forward planning and costing tools
explain how they were developed
get feedback on how they are being used and
explore what improvements can be made.

Recruiting front line staff to provide valuable feedback to NICE about an exciting new project
More and more information is now accessed electronically. While some of this is well presented and easy to access, a lot of it is not. NICE are keen that the electronic versions of its guidance improve not just access to the content, but also its relevance to the end user.
