Implementation will form one of the main focuses of the NICE annual conference 2007 - 'Evidence into practice'

The NICE annual conference will be held on 5–6 December at the Central Convention Complex in Manchester. This year’s conference will address how NICE uses expert advice and evidence to develop guidance and will offer practical and realistic examples of the best ways to turn NICE guidance into reality.

This year’s conference will also present the Shared Learning Award. The award is new to the conference and offers the opportunity for delegates to win a top prize of £1000 to support the implementation of NICE guidance in their organization. The award was established to celebrate the examples of best practice on the NICE shared learning database. If you want to be in with a chance of winning submit your example of successful implementation by 30 September. Runner up prizes include £100 and free and discounted tickets to the conference.
