What you need ... when you want it!

Do you get the NICE implementation support tools at a time when you most need them? Our survey of people responsible for implementing NICE guidance showed that most need the slide set available as soon as possible after launch tosupport their local awareness raising activities. To respond to this demand, NICE has developed a revised slide set with a focus on the key priorities for implementation, along with information from the cost impact report and other resources which will be provided by NICE approximately 10 weeks post publication of the guideline. This will link to the Quick Reference Guide for each piece of guidance and we are encouraging presenters to order copies in advance, so that participants can refer to it during the session.

To make the slide set more interactive for presenters we have suggested questions for their local organisation, to stimulate discussion.

We hope this change will encourage more colleagues across the NHS to use the slide set widely as part of our collective effort to improve patient care.
