New NICE guidance for schools published to prevent and reduce alcohol use in children and young people


NICE has today issued national guidance on effective ways to encourage children not to drink, delaying the age at which young people start drinking and reducing the harm it can cause among those who do drink. The guidance is aimed at anyone who works with children and young people in schools and other education settings.

NICE has today (28 November) published final guidance on the use of inhaled corticosteroids for the treatment of chronic asthma in children under the age of 12. This is part of the Institute's multiple technology appraisal (STA) work programme.
