2007/015 NICE launches second consultation on draft recommendations relating to birth settings

In June 2006 NICE consulted on a draft version of its guideline on care during labour. Following a significant number of comments from stakeholders covering a wide range of views and opinions NICE has launched (Thursday 22 March 2007) a second consultation on the recommendations relating to places women give birth, which form part of the wider guideline. NICE is only consulting on these recommendations, not the whole guideline.
