2003/026 NICE welcomes Department of Health directions on implementing NICE Technology Appraisal Guidance

The Department of Health have recently consolidated and reissued Directions relating to the funding of NICE Technology Appraisal Guidance. This means no change to the policy that the NHS should make funding available to support the implementation of NICE Appraisal guidance within three months of its publication, unless they are instructed to extend this period by the Department.
