2004/020 NICE issues guidance on use of newer drugs for epilepsy in children
The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) has today (28 April 2004) issued guidance to the NHS in England and Wales on the use of newer drugs for the treatment of epilepsy in children. The guidance recommends the newer antiepileptic drugs for the management of epilepsy in children who have not benefited from treatment with the older antiepileptic drugs, or for whom the older antiepileptic drugs are unsuitable.
