2006/040 Thousands more people with hepatitis C to benefit from latest NICE guidance on drug treatments

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has today issued guidance recommending the use of two drugs (peginterferon alfa and ribavirin) for the treatment of people with mild chronic hepatitis C within the NHS.
