This is the search specifically for NICE's guidance. It will not return any other results. If you are searching for other information please use the site search.

The guidance search results can be filtered by ‘Relevancy' or ‘Date' (see search detail for explanation). There is additional information included in the search NICE guidance results.

Each result will include a description and type. The description will include a short summary of the associated guidance. Type will distinguish the guidance from the following list;

• Clinical guidelines
• Interventional procedures
• Public health guidance
• Technology appraisals

There will also be automatically generated links that will link to all documents related to the associated guidance these can include;

• Publication status - whether the guidance is ‘published' or ‘in progress'
• Specify publication period - refine the list by asking to search for guidance published between certain dates. For example all neck cancer guidance published between January 1999 - April 2008.
