Information resources and templates
NICE has developed guidance-specific information resources and templates to provide practical help for health and social care services and staff when putting the guidance into practice. The content of tools depends on the guidance but can include:
- key points in the guidance for use during scrutiny or compliance assessment
- signposting to credible resources and, where appropriate, case studies
- tools to provide a reminder or practical aid at the time of implementation - for example a step by step guide to a complex screening process
- a framework to enable consistency with NICE guidance when services are cascading distilled versions of recommendations.
