Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. We provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care. Macmillan merged with Cancerbackup on 1st April 2008 to ensure that everyone affected by cancer will get better access to high-quality information at every stage of their cancer journey.
- Malehealth (MHF)
Malehealth is run by the Men's Health Forum, the UK's charity working to improve men's health. Malehealth provides essential, accurate, easy-to-use information about the key health problems that affect men.
- Marie Stopes International
Marie Stopes International (MSI) is the UK's leading provider of sexual and reproductive healthcare services. The nationwide network of centres see over 100,000 men and women each year who come for information, advice and professional help with abortion, contraception, sterilisation and health screening.
- MDF The BiPolar Organisation
User-led self help organisation works to enable people affected by manic depression/bipolar to take control of their lives. Self Help Groups, quarterly journal, Self Management courses, eCommunity, peer-to-peer support (Wales), 24 hour helpline, travel insurance scheme, employment advocacy.
- ME Association (MEA)
The ME Association provides services and information to people throughout the UK with M.E. (Myalgic Encephalopathy)/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
- Meningitis Research Foundation
Meningitis Research Foundation aims to defeat meningitis and septicaemia through vital scientific research. The Foundation promotes symptoms awareness to the public, produces educational resources and treatment algorithms for health professionals, and campaigns for improvements in prevention and care. The charity supports people affected through its 24-hour helpline and befriending programme.

The Mouth Cancer Foundation is a charity dedicated to supporting people with mouth, throat and other head & neck cancer face the crisis of cancer through its website's onlne support group, its telephone helpline, patient advocacy activities and support of research related to survivorship issues. The charity is also focused on increasing awareness of the early signs of mouth cancers and the need for early diagnosis to improve survival through its mouth cancer awareness campaign and events.
