Our associates help us to support and promote high quality, safe, cost-effective prescribing and medicines optimisation.
We train and support over 80 clinicians involved in medicines optimisation across England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. Associates pass on knowledge across their professional networks and support each other as an expert group.
What's involved as an associate?
Associates act as a go-between for NICE and healthcare professionals.
As an associate you'll receive training from the clinicians who develop NICE guidance. You'll help to identify key medicines issues in new guidance, share examples of good practice and use the network of experts to problem-solve specific medicines optimisation issues.
