Recommendation: 1.8.2

If continuing treatment is necessary, make arrangements for a smooth transition to adult services and give information to the young person about the treatment and services they may need.

What was measured: Proportion of autistic adult respondents to an online survey who said they received enough information when they went through transition to adults' services.

What was measured: Proportion of local authorities which reported that their services for autistic young people included an automatic transition process, training inclusive of young people's services, analysis of the needs of autistic young people, specialist commissioning when necessary and the appropriate reasonable adjustments.
