When NICE recommends a treatment as an option for use during the managed access period, NHS England will make it available according to the conditions in the managed access agreement. This means that, if a patient has untreated advanced non-small-cell lung cancer with activating EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations and the healthcare professional responsible for their care thinks that amivantamab with carboplatin and pemetrexed is the right treatment, it should be available for use, in line with NICE's recommendations and the criteria in the managed access agreement.
