Trastuzumab emtansine (Kadcyla) is not recommended. This drug is for adults with advanced HER2-positive breast cancer that has been treated before with trastuzumab and a taxane (paclitaxel or docetaxel).

What does this mean for me?

If you are already taking trastuzumab emtansine you should be able to continue taking it until you and your doctor decide it is the right time to stop.
