Heavy menstrual bleeding: Final scope
Please note there have been major changes made to the scope in response to stakeholder comments. Following discussion, the Department of Health have agreed that the guideline should be extended to cover not just hysterectomy but the pathway for diagnosis and management of heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia). This change to the scope allows the alternatives to hysterectomy to be evaluated and the choices available clearly set out for women.
