Draft guidance

Health Tech Programme consultation document

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is producing guidance on Algorithms applied to spirometry to support the diagnosis of lung conditions in primary care and community diagnostics centres. The Diagnostics Advisory Committee has considered the evidence and the views of clinical and patient experts.

You can now comment on the draft guidance consultation document.

It summarises the evidence and views that have been considered and sets out the recommendations made by the committee. NICE invites comments from registered stakeholders, healthcare professionals and the public.

How to comment

You should read both the consultation document and the accompanying evidence (see the committee papers/supporting documents) before making any comments.

You must make your comments directly onto the online version of the consultation document, separate documents will not be accepted as part of the online consultation. There are two documents for comment in this consultation, the Draft Guidance and the Evidence Generation plan. If you wish to comment on both documents, please ensure add your comments to BOTH documents before submitting.
