20 April 2021 In progress. Development of this quality standard has restarted and the timelines have been updated.
24 June 2020 In progress. We are currently undertaking a phased restart of quality standards development. This topic has not been identified as a priority for the initial phase of restarting development but will be rescheduled into the work programme in due course.
06 April 2020 Topic update: this quality standard has not been defined as therapeutically critical (please follow the link titled rapid guidelines and evidence summaries within the yellow banner on the NICE website homepage about for information on recent changes to the way we work). The quality standard will therefore be paused. At this stage, we are unable to provide alternative timelines as to when the quality standard may be re-started but we will provide updates as and when this information becomes clear.
