7.1 This guidance is a partial review of Epithelial radiofrequency ablation for Barrett's oesophagus (NICE interventional procedure guidance 344 issued in May 2010). It applies only to Barrett's oesophagus with low‑grade or no dysplasia. The sections in IPG344 relating to Barrett's oesophagus with high‑grade dysplasia continue to apply.
