Resource impact statement

No significant resource impact is anticipated

We do not expect this guidance to have a significant impact on resources overall; that is, the cost or saving from implementing this guidance will be less than £1 million per year in England (or £1,800 per 100,000 population). This is because the population size is small. We expect the guidance to have a small cost saving for commissioners and have a small additional cost for providers (both less than £1 million per year in England).

Commissioners and providers are advised to work together to enable implementation of this guidance.

Services for treatment of ureteric obstruction are commissioned by clinical commissioning groups. Providers are NHS hospital trusts.
