In January 2026, we reviewed the recommendations on hybrid closed loop systems for managing blood glucose levels in type 1 diabetes.

Surveillance decision

We will not update the recommendations outlined in NICE's technology appraisal guidance on hybrid closed loop systems for managing blood glucose levels in type 1 diabetes (TA943) or this NICE guideline (NG17).
