Preventing the uptake of smoking by children and young people: consultation on the evidence
NICE was asked by the Department of Health (DH) to develop guidance on preventing the uptake of smoking by children and young people.
All registered stakeholders were invited to comment on the evidence that has been assembled to inform the development of this guidance, prior to this evidence being used by the Institute's Public Health Intervention Advisory Committee (PHIAC) to develop draft recommendations.
The consultation on the evidence took place between 23rd November and 24th December 2007 and is now closed.
Please note, the evidence presented here does not constitute the Institute's guidance on this topic
