Resource impact statement
No significant additional resource impact is anticipated
We do not expect this guideline update to have a significant impact on resources; that is:
- the resource impact of implementing any single guideline recommendation will be less than £1 million per year in England (or £1,800 per 100,000 population) and
- the resource impact of implementing the whole guideline in England will be less than £5 million per year (or £9,100 per 100,000 population).
This is because the recommendations have not changed significantly from the previous NICE guideline.
Where the original recommendations have not been fully implemented locally, there may be a resource impact.
This service is commissioned by NHS England, Clinical Commissioning Groups and Local Authorities in STP areas. Providers are NHS hospital trusts, primary care community services and selected framework providers for the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme.
The original resource impact template has been updated following the review of the guideline in 2017. The original resource impact report was removed from the website following the review of the guideline in 2017. If you would like access to this, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
