The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has been asked to consider an appraisal of nintedanib for treating progressive fibrosing interstitial lung disease ID1599. We have recently invited stakeholders to respond to a written consultation on the draft scope and to attend a scoping workshop for this proposed appraisal.
On receiving information from the company that markets nintedanib, NICE has agreed that holding a scoping exercise at this time is not appropriate. Consequently, the scoping workshop arranged for the 13 September 2019 will be cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. The Scoping workshop will be rescheduled to November 2019.
