The Department for Health and Social Care has asked NICE to conduct an appraisal of icosapent ethyl with statin therapy for reducing the risk of cardiovascular events in adults with elevated triglycerides. Following on from a request received from the company, the timelines for this appraisal have been revised in order to facilitate a comprehensive and robust submission.
