Relevance to NICE guidance programmes
NICE has issued interventional procedure guidance on partial replacement of the meniscus of the knee using a biodegradable scaffold.
NICE guidance on knee cartilage defects – autologous chondrocyte implantation is in development and is expected to be published in 2015. Guidance on cutting blocks for total knee arthroplasty has been announced, but currently has no anticipated publishing date.
