Information for the public
Risankizumab (Skyrizi) is available on the NHS as a possible treatment for moderately to severely active Crohn's disease in people 16 years and over if:
- a previous biological treatment has not worked well enough, stopped working or was not tolerated, or
- tumour necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha inhibitors are not suitable.
If you are not eligible for risankizumab but are already having it, you should be able to continue until you and your doctor decide when best to stop.
