Bringing together people who want to influence our work.

By sharing your real-life experiences and views, you can make a difference to the people most directly affected by our recommendations.

How you can make a difference

As a panel member, you play a crucial role in shaping our standards and guidance, actively influencing how we engage with people who use health and care services, unpaid carers, and the public. Your contributions, such as reviewing documents, sharing personal experiences, participating in surveys, and joining committees, are vital to our collective success in helping others understand what we do and recommend.

Who can be a panel member

We're interested to hear from people who have experience of using health or care services, or cares for someone who does. You do not need to have previous experience to join the panel.

We’d particularly like to hear from from 16 to 30 years old and people from ethnic minorities.

What's involved

As a panel member you choose which opportunities you would like to get involved in. Whether it's reviewing documents, offering feedback, or collaborating in project groups, you're in control of your involvement.

You'll also have the opportunity to connect with fellow panel members through our forum and network.
