The OPTIMIZER system could benefit patients with heart failure who are still highly symptomatic after optimal drug treatment. Patients with a narrow QRS when cardiac resynchronisation therapy is not suitable, have a potential new treatment option alongside optimal drug treatment. As well as offering a new treatment option, the OPTIMIZER system could improve heart failure symptoms and exercise tolerance.
