NICE has assessed Curos for preventing infections when using needleless connectors to help the NHS decide whether to use this product.
Curos is a disinfecting cap which is intended to reduce the risk of infection. There is limited clinical evidence, but Curos shows promise for preventing infections. So NICE has recommended that further research should be done.
