Minor changes since publication
May 2026: Changes have been made to align this quality standard with the update to NICE's guideline on anaphylaxis: assessment and referral after emergency treatment. For quality statement 3 on referral to specialist drug allergy services, the term anaphylactic reaction has been changed to anaphylaxis in line with updates to the wording used in the guideline. The source guidance has also been updated for this quality statement.
