Information for the public
Durvalumab (Imfinzi) is available on the NHS. It is a possible treatment for gastric (stomach) or gastro‑oesophageal junction (where the food pipe meets the stomach) adenocarcinoma that can be removed surgically in adults. It can be used:
- with chemotherapy both before (neoadjuvant) and after surgery (adjuvant), then
- by itself as adjuvant treatment.
