Information for the public
Sotorasib (Lumykras) is available through the Cancer Drugs Fund. It is a possible treatment for locally advanced or metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer in adults if:
- their tumours have a mutation called KRAS G12C
- they have had, or cannot tolerate, platinum-based chemotherapy or anti‑PD‑1/PD‑L1 immunotherapy.
More evidence on sotorasib is being collected. After this NICE will decide whether or not to recommend sotorasib for use on the NHS and update the guidance. It will be available through the Cancer Drugs Fund until then.
If you are not eligible for sotorasib but are already having it, you should be able to continue until you and your doctor decide when best to stop.
