  • Question on Consultation

Is the draft scope clear in terms of its aims, boundaries, and the populations and settings it covers? From your perspective, will the guideline based on this scope be useful to your work or the services you provide?
  • Question on Consultation

The draft scope focuses on health and mental health settings and joint work with social care but does not include interventions delivered solely by social care. Considering the remit of NICE and this guideline, from your perspective, does this approach raise any concerns that we should be aware of?
  • Question on Consultation

Considering the remit of the NICE guideline update, does the draft EHIA consider the range of barriers faced by minoritised and underserved groups?
  • Question on Consultation

Are there any additional equality or health inequalities issues we should consider?

Economic aspects

We will take economic aspects into account when making recommendations. For each review question (or key areas in the scope), we review the economic evidence and, where appropriate, carry out economic modelling and analyses, to assess the value for money (cost effectiveness) of interventions. This is done using an NHS and personal social services perspective. A wider public sector perspective may be undertaken, depending on availability of relevant data.
