2 Information about polihexanide eye drops

Polihexanide 0.8 mg/ml eye drops (Akantior, SIFI) is indicated for 'the treatment of Acanthamoeba keratitis in adults and children from 12 years of age'.

The list price for the polihexanide 0.8 mg/ml is £5,960.00 for 30 vials (excluding VAT; company submission). The company has a commercial arrangement, which would have applied if polihexanide 0.8 mg/ml eye drops had been recommended.
