Update information
September 2025: We made editorial changes to the section on how to lodge an appeal to clarify the arrangements for making an appeal depending on how a technology is recommended. Minor editorial changes have also been made throughout. The guide applies to appeals on final draft guidance issued to stakeholders on or after 8 September 2025.
April 2025: From 1 June 2025, we are changing the way appeals should be lodged to NICE for final draft guidance that has been issued to consultees. See section 4 of this manual for details.
