Guide to the methods of technology appraisal
In 2008 NICE published an updated guide to the methods of technology appraisal. This guide describes the methods of assessment and appraisal that should be followed for all technology appraisals initiated after 25 June 2008.

NICE is reviewing the Guide to the methods of technology appraisal, which underpins the technology appraisal programme. The review of the Guide to the methods of technology appraisal will take place between October 2011 and December 2012. More details can be found here.
The 2004 Guide to the methods of technology appraisals can be found be below for all appraisals initiated before 25 June 2008.
